Alicia P. Rodriguez is the Academic Advisor & Administrative Coordinator of the Department of Latina/Latino Studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Foundations of Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Alicia has published articles and chapters in Latina/o College Student Leadership; Race, Gender, & Class; Educational Theory; Cultural Studies: A Research Volume; Unfinished Business: Closing the Racial Achievement Gap in Our Schools; Critical Voices in School Reform: Students Living Through Change; and This Bridge We Call Home: Radical Visions for Transformation. She is the co-founder of the Latina/o Resilience Network. In her free time she likes to go on adventures with family, exercise, travel, do photography and crafts, garden, and be outdoors as much as possible.
